Cana Bay Golf Club
Cana Bay golf club opened in 2010 and hosts 18 holes of championship golf designed by Nicklaus Golf. This Punta Cana golf course is a lengthy 7,253 yards from the back tees with a Par of 72. The course is set inland and meanders through breathtaking Dominican landscapes full of native flora. Holes at Cana Bay are all unique and cut through thick jungle vegetation. This course is recommended and is an excellent and very playable well conditioned layout. Cana Bay also features excellent practice facilities.
Corales Golf Course
Corales golf course is located at the Punta Cana Golf Resort and Club, and is situated on a pristine stretch of land composed of several rocky cliffs. The 7,555 yard Corales golf course designed by Tom Fazio features ocean front holes, multiple lines of approach, and picturesque canyons all providing a dramatic backdrop for Fazio’s world class design. The 18th hole has a unique ‘double-shot’ that dares players to drive over the rock-lined cliffs of the Bay of Corales. Corales golf course is one of the most talked about ocean-front courses in the world and one of the best in the Dominican Republic.
La Cana Golf Course
La Cana golf course is located at the Punta Cana Golf Resort and Club. Designer, P.B. Dye created this oceanfront layout into a voluptuous course reminiscent of a Matisse sculpture. The Caribbean Sea is visible on most holes all of which take advantage of the natural splendor of the country’s eastern most point. La Cana opened in 2000 and was one of the original golf courses in Punta Cana. P.B dye added 9 more holes in 2012 for a total of 27. Each 9 is unique with their own characteristics and names, Tortuga, the Hacienda, and the Arrecife. La Cana golf course is among the best in the Dominican Republic.
Punta Espada Golf Club
Punta Espada golf course was designed by Jack Nicklaus and opened in 2005. The course is named for the coastlines resemblance of a sword’s tip and features 8 holes directly on the stunning ocean coastline and ocean views from all 18. Nicklaus used the most visual, interesting, and breathtaking parcels of the land inside the Cap Cana development to build this great Dominican Republic golf course. Punta Espada golf course has been ranked #1 in the Caribbean and is a must play golf course.
The Lakes Barcelo Golf Course
Barcelo was actually the first golf course ever built in the Punta Cana area over 20 years ago. It remained an afterthought until a rebirth and re-design by P.B Dye in 2010. The Lakes Barcelo golf course is now a championship layout. The course maintains its original essence with rolling fairways that traverses through a lush mangrove forest, with inland lakes and strategically positioned bunkers, the golf course capitalizes on the natural beauty of the Bávaro area, incorporating native plants and species, around it’s meticulously manicured greens providing you the best playing surface with the highest industry standards.
